I AM SO SICK OF HER VIEW!

Posted by hashiki on September 11, 2008

I am a pretty patient person.  Normally I am not only patient, but tolerant.  But not when it comes to Elisabeth Hasselbeck of ABC’s THE VIEW!

I’m not one who takes pleasure in ripping someone up or tearing them down.  I really don’t want to do that with Elisabeth, but I realize that what I am going to say may be viewed and seen that way.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL

Posted by hashiki on September 11, 2008

One of my favorite versions of America the Beautiful, by the late Ray Charles.  In the midst of all of this division in our country, regardless of how we feel about the Republicans or even the Democrat; no matter what our views are on McCain, Palin, Obama, or Biden; no matter how angry we are with the injustices and racism that exist in this beautiful country, the bottomline is that we are Americans.  When the terror of 9-11 occurred, no one asked, “Who did you vote for?”, “Are you Republican or Democrat?”, “Are you male or female?”, not even “Are you Black or White?”…………..Americans died together!

God has shed His grace on America.  We don’t always recognize it or appreciate it, but we are a blessed country.

Nobody sings this song as Ray Charles did.  Please enjoy it for the 3:13 seconds that the video lasts.
